Jesus Christ HATES Religion

"Gotta Keep 'Em Seperated"
Religion has been around since the dawn of time. A religion is a group of people who have the same beliefs in most cases. There are tidal waves of choices to choose from when it comes to inheriting a particular belief or passion. There is plenty of variety when it comes to what you may feel you want to worship. Some choose to worship snakes. Others prefer something a little less scary such as themselves or money. Team Wiseman chose to worship Christ. The first issue that arose after accepting Christ into our life was what religious group should we join? Christians currently hold the status of having more branch off religions than any other faith. You can be anything from Baptist to Catholic to Jehovah all in the name of Jesus, and the "branch offs" even have branch offs of their own! (ex.Southern Baptist is a branch off from Baptist) They all claim to be Christian based and have the athourity of Jesus to back them up. The problem with this is each group usually has their own set of "extra" rules and regulations, and if not abided by, then your out! Your kicked to the curb and feeling quite bad about yourself. We know because we remember how it felt to us. You feel that God himself kicked you out and when you feel that way, Satan claims victory.
If you have ever been kicked out of a church, we beg you to not blame God. That is not His ways, it is the ways of religion and Jesus hates religion! The author and creator of religion is no doubt the same author of seperation and confusion, Satan himself. You see, Satan had to think fast when Jesus rose, Christianity was born. All of Satans future plans had to be revised immediately. He just lost a lot of souls because Christ payed our fine. Satan now had been stripped of his power over mankinds eternity. Now, all human kind had to do was reveal the the fact that they believe that Jesus rose from the dead for them and trust and rely upon Him for Salvation. What better way than to launch his attack on the earliest leaders of the church than by enticing their pride thus creating the desire to sub contract the Word of God to suit their own criteria.
This is the same spirit of pride that threatens the church leaders to this day. Real authentic leaders of God continuously have to humble themselves and you would never catch them pointing their finger towards the exit door. Jesus knew the plan of Satan was to divide the church and dillute its purpose and strength. This is why He prayed for the Church to unite and become as ONE.(John 17:20-26) Since our Saviour prayed for this, then I know without a doubt it will come to pass, but until then, we continue to see weak and self-indulged churches on the rise.
Religion vs. Relationship
What bugs us more than anything else on this topic is "holy rollers" and "better than thou's". I'm sure a lot of you would agree with that. They mascarade around with their noses in the air like our sin stinks worse than theirs! Jesus gave major "Woes" to these type of people. He tells them they are the ones who shut up the Kingdom of Heaven against mankind. They keep us from God instead of bringing us closer to Him.(Matthew 23;13-33) In other words, these "leaders" are causing people to fall further away from Jesus while attending church services regularly. Jesus tells them exactly how he feels about them in the verses above. We would like you to put yourself in Jesus' sandals for a second if you would. He didn't go through what He went through for a religion. He was whipped repeatedly, stoned heavily, spit on,had his skull thorned, and was hung on a cross by hands and feet literally nailed to it. Sounds to me like He may have been looking for relationship rather than a religion. Sounds like He's looking for Love. He's looking for you.
Have you ever been given the old "heave-ho" from a church?

Are All Churches Bad?
Yes!...No, we're just playing. For real though, church establishments can mislead ones life in the wrong direction. We have heard so many stories how someone has been done wrong by a church. This makes them react negatively to trying to walk on the right path in life. They steer clear from the gluttonous, gossip-filled buildings we call "churches" and eventually close their ears to God. There are good churches but are far too few. Whether the church is a good one or bad, this seems to not matter much to a Believer who engages in a personal relationship with Jesus Christ. If anything else, the relationalist believer improves the Godly quality of a gathering facility. So by having a true, personal relationship with Christ, a lot of the drama of looking for the right place to worship or religion fades away. To have a relationship with Jesus is to obviously show a connection to Him. Wake up each morning and tell Him thanks for everything, and you Love Him. It's that easy, no candles to burn and no snakes to handle. Just those three affectionate words are all He wants from us in return for His Love. The burden He has us to carry is truly that light.

Hey thats my profile image Lol.
Religion is interpreted into human words. Some things may come from God himself, but over the years, but the actual words of God may have been changed by years of passing on.
There are good churches, but most churches prey on the weak. So its adviced to be sharp but worship God and stand by your faith.
Great hub :)
Good hub. I concur the Satanic agenda has derailed religion and put a veil over people so they can't see it. A perfect plan of control and separation.
Grins....good hub! Thanks! :)
Great Hub. =) I too have long lost interest in man perverting the word for his own uses.
I do believe in Jesus, and many others, and ultimately I believe in a Creator. Love and Peace is what we need today, not hate and political interests.
Sincerely,
G|M
Jesus was Jewish. He taught Jews, he had Jews as companions, his parents were Jewish, he visited the Jewish temples. He said he did not come to do away with The Law but to fulfull it. He was not a Christian. But he was definitely a religious person. He came to deliver the House of Israel.
Paul, however, converted from Jew to Christian. He is the one who began the religion that you speak of in this hub.
As far as all the branches of Christianity? What do you expect? Anytime anyone thinks he/she has The Truth, someone will challenge it. Even Judaism has several branches; so does Islam, Hinduism, Buddhism. Yes, Christianity has the most, but still, no religion is exempt.
The only seeming solution? Give up religion, religious books, religious gatherings and make up your own. You'll be just as on target as any of the others.
Am I wrong?
Religion is men reaching up to God. Christianity is God reaching down to men! Who do you think is more likely to get it right?
Thanks for visiting my Hub. I thought I would come over and see where you were coming from. I appreciate your thoughts on the subject of religion. I tend towards the Christian belief system because I was born into it. I haven't cut myself off from other systems, however. For example, last night I couldn't sleep and turned on a Buddhist meditation tape which always relaxes my mind and body enough so that I sleep through the night without grinding my teeth, haha.
Each leg of the elephant carries its own weight, so to speak.
I have to agree you, going to church does not make you a Christian. I believe if you live a good life (be an example) and spread the word of God's love and forgiveness, that's truly the way to live. But there will always be the same people who have chosen not to follow God's path and they want to derailed as any people as possible. I believe that's satan as his best, breeding and spreading doubt, and last as for man distorting the bible it happens, but some words in the bible not up for discussion, but yet we still argue.
Good hub! being religious a lot of times is following the politics of the doctrine! Many "religious" individuals miss out on the intimacy that one can have when they are practicing in the act of spirituality this does not howevergive us the right to judge the way others choose to practice in their own acts of worship!
Good Job On Your Hub!
good hub, but when you do find a good church it is very helpful. when you surround yourselves with fellow believers who care about your spiritual walk and will assist you how they can, it is great and so encouraging.
Team Wiseman
You are right in saying "denomination" is completely wrong. Jesus is the only way. There is only way and no other way except Jesus Christ. God bless.
very nice hub
Do you think that Fly Agaric mushroms were really considered the original soma ?
Awesome hub there never was intended to be 'denominations" or division in the body of Christ. " One Body" many members (not denominations)
This is indeed a great hub. Thank you for sharing this insight.
churches / religion are a double edged sword same as any power tool. The same power that brings great good can bring great evil when wielded blindly and without the power of reason tempered by true faith and spirituality. Those rule books are for people who despise themselves and have no faith in the ultimate goodness of creation.
The makings of the beast say you are a heretic if you do not believe every single one of their rules like salvation by invitation only or you don't believe in purgatory. . . John 6:37 says All that the Father giveth me shall come to me; and him that cometh to me I will in no wise cast out. And that does not mean except for those ones who don't believe in purgatory or salvation by invitation only.
Very good hub for many deserving ears that need to hear this. Thanks so much!
Just read the Bible as is! Then their would be no religion. It would be just the Word of God.
HATE MOGNERRING
BROKEN DOWN PSEUDO MINISTRY
5/4/2010
According to information, months ago, Mrs. Soh, Shin Ho unexpectedly assaulted at Dr. Ki Ok Cho in the church, shouting, "Why do come to this church and so on...."
The assault was so surprising to her from an unfamiliar member without any provocation. Thus, Dr. Cho was so shocked that shortly thereafter she was hospitalized with a stroke and is now paralyzed, a question lingers on if it was related with the emotional shocks.
How can any decent church member improperly assault an innocent church member without "any prejudice?"
Dr. Cho is a long time respected church
member, contributed so dearly to the church in many faithful ways. Mrs. Soh should find remorseful on her unwarranted, misled insult.
With Dr. Kil Chai Yim, Dr. Cho jointly endowed a scholarship fund for the church.
According to information, not so long ago, Rev. Chul Woo Chang often requested Dr. Cho to allow him to spend the endowment fund to pay for the choir.
She could not consent it as it was in violation of the donors' will, the church rules and the State law. The pastor is obliged to protect such endowment accordingly.
But Rev. Chang made a public announcement in the church that he was not allowed to spend the fund to pay for the choir members, as if slandering the donors. Why the church needs to have a paid choir in the expense of an honorable scholarship endowment? Indeed the unnecessary public announcement was out of etiquette.
On Sunday, January 17, 2009, Yoo Dong Suck suddenly verbally assaulted me. Shouting, "Why do you come to this church? Don't come to this church." He was about to bodily attack me at the church entrance. He almost hit me unless his wife sensibly stopped him, My Natural response to him, "...this is my church..."
I did not have any social or church relations with him. We do not know each other very well. How he knew me as such. His attack seems to have originated from "a dangerous brain washing." After it, I wrote him to learn if he was associated with the hate group who falsely charged my son and me as the mass murderers in order o steal church money. But he did not respond to it. His family is known to have a close relation with Rev. Won Tae Cha.
His hateful assault seems to be not isolated case as it was very similar to Mrs. Soh’s to Dr. Cho. He should rethink about his assault mentality. Recently his wife was promoted to a steward of the church.
On or around April 6, 2010, the church secretary called us to learn the address of Dr. Kil Chai Yim. I told her Dr. Yim has no more address as she is in the nursing home. The secretary wanted to have, at least, the phone number for the new address book of the church.
Dr. Yim is very actively dedicated lifetime member of this church. During her youthful years, she made good contributions to it. She raised funds for the expansion of the existing old building. Now nobody in the church seems to care about her in her old age anymore. Even the salaried pastors or the elders did not follow whereabouts in negligence. Is this a Christian ministry that we have in 89 years old this historic church? Isn't this sadly dehumanizing ministry today? Is it a church’s way to treat the aged member as if “An old soldier fades away” as a trash. An alien pastoral culture ruined the traditional church life.
On December 16, 2009, at the Charge Conference of the church, there was a heated dispute between Rev. Chang and Mr. Suk Kyun Shin, then the Chairman of the Pastoral Committee, as Rev. Chang omitted the financial reports by the chairman to it in order to cover up the irregularities.
The issue was on the unauthorized extra payments to Rev. Chang for his Morning Prayer meetings, which was additional to the regular salary. (Other disturbing issue is the pastor's residence in New Jersey far away from the church, beyond the high cost toll bridge, George Washington, if that is unrealistic). However, according to Ms. Sung Hi Rhim, new chairperson of the Pastoral Committee, the dispute had no basis at all. If that was the case, it is questionable why Mr. Shin had erroneously caused such public nonsense for the financial matters at the sane church conference. His chairmanship ended without a clarification of the mess. The chairperson should make "the nonsense a Korean sense clearly" to deliver us from the dummy church world.
At the same meeting I complained against the extortion lawsuits and about the pastor's and the church officers’ blocking the official audit of the irregular finances from 2000 for almost two years. Mr. In-Taeg Rhim, a long time church financial officer, shouted at me that he would call the police in protest against my complaint. I responded to him, "Call the police, if they come here, they would arrest you first." The audit can make our church Jesus clean.
Following the 89th Anniversary services, Rev. Sung Kook Michael Hahm offered "Red” benediction. He was former chairman of Korean American Coordination Council (KANCC) (Pro-North Korean org.) (See Visit to North Korea, by Suki Kim to learn Korean communists in U. S. A.).
All the events since the People' Army trained Rev. Cha's appointment seem to be reflections from the impure elements infiltrated into our congregation that clouded the sense of the human conscience.
Years ago, the former Rev. Sung Soo Hahn demonstrated in the midtown demanding the withdrawal American troops from the South. At the demo Mr. Oh Bo Young was very hostile to me in his opposing party. He was in the North Korea with other communist visitors from America, including the procommunist Rev. Yoo Tai Young who is a brother in law of Yoo Un Bong, who used come to the trial court in support of Rev. Cha, Steven H. Park, Young So Kim and other church members, including Mrs. Hahm - the trial was for the false mass murder charges against me and my son - the church financed extortion lawsuits - smart guys of this 89 year old historic church. It should be noted that Dong Jin Kim was one of the active members who sued us. He used to live with Rev. Cha. He is a related in-law of Rev. Chul Woo Chang. Now there could be more like those new members in the church.
The network of the complex ideological orientation should be looked into the church ills.
The Pastoral Committee is largely responsible for maintaining "this style of ministry with a high costs to date. It is too much hate based ministry to be Christian at all for so long.
Why the church waste resources for the disgraceful, wrongful ministry. The inept faithless leadership ruined our traditional church and destroyed our human relations in the church.
As all the events presented here matters with the personal integrity for the church affairs, the matters should be immediately cleared at an open meeting of the church for the clear understanding of the facts of the bankrupt faith and correct the wrongdoings without selling her history alone deceptively anymore.
By now we must reform the highly hate based ministry that misled the congregation for so long. It is about time the Pastoral Committee should be dismissed unless it actively reforms the pseudo church into the real faith based church.
Audit the abused finance and restitute the stolen funds, which will further guide how to clean up the mess.
The pastors come and go. But the congregation is the core force of any church, which should be alerted to have a confident pastor in good faith, not to commercialize it any more in any manner apart from the Bible at all. Enough is enough, Korean enough in this shame way. Please tell if this message is untrue. "When you see something, say something!"
Blessings. Chae S. Sone
In the midst of this scandalous ministry, Rev. Chul Woo Chang is following his mentor Rev. Won Tae Cha and de-Jesus-ed so much of this historic church. Now his soldier Elder Chan Bum Oh is trying to support Rev. Chul Woo Chang remain in the church after his retirrement in June 2010. Rev. Chang said to the meeting, he would guide the new minister as possible how to minister it. People did not accept the senseless proposal of Elder Oh. For the church needs someone who can clean up the scandals. But the corrupt machine of Korean ministers remains to be seen how it would lead the church. If you ministers do not have courage and power should not stay in the ministry. They should not waste their youthful life as Rev. Chang and Rev. Cha did. They should not stay in the criminal ministry. But find a new way to serve God. Read the postings on Website Rev. Won Tae Cha, Young So Kim, Rev. Chul Woo Chang, etc
I saw this post, and know i'm a little late, but... I truly praise you, and your hearts are in the right place, but you need to put a little more concideration into the scriptures. Don't just put a verse in and go on about it. Take for example of salvation. Did you really think that Jesus said only belief alone will save you? Of course not! Read John 3:5-6 as well, and John 6:48-58. You cannot read just 1 verse in the Holy Book and go by that 1 verse, there are many. 1 Corinthians 10:16-17. Just saying.
